We produce rapid steam boilers (or steam generators) in various sizes with steam capacities from 100 to 4000 kg/h and operating pressures of 13 bar in the standard version and up to 70 bar as a special version. Depending on the capacity, optionally in vertical as well as horizontal design.

Production is carried out at ZAFA in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU and the EN 12952 regulations with type approval and CE mark.

Options

Boiler control "Modulating"

Contrary to the two-stage power boiler control (pressure control), we have the option of "modulating" boiler control between 40 and 100% for gas-fired systems. The amount of water required for this purpose to the amount of energy is guaranteed by the use of a frequency-controlled feedwater pump. If the steam consumption is within the control range of the steam boiler, the adjusted setpoint (operating overpressure) is kept constant for the most part.
 

Modular design

In addition to the tried and tested standard version, we also produce custom-designed steam boilers in modular construction to create a ready-to-operate steam boiler system for your specific needs. On request, including installation in a container or alternatively with mounting on a truck for a mobile steam plant.

Automatic start up

Another option is the "automatic start-up device" i.e. this automatic start-up device enables automatic start-up, shut-down and the daily necessary backwash (blowdown). This mode of operation is possible through the use of control valves, a thermostat and a small additional control unit.

Rapid steam boiler - Additional modules

Exhaust gas heat exchanger

The air heat exchanger has the task of cooling down the exhaust gases from the rapid steam boiler and feeding the energy obtained from them to the feedwater, i.e. the feedwater is fed into the steam generator via the air heat exchanger by means of the feedwater pump. 

Water separator

Durch den, kurz hinter der Kesselanlage installierten Wasserabscheider, erhalten wir zum größten Teil einen trockenen und sauberen Sattdampf. Die spezifisch schweren Partikel wie Kondensat und Schmutz werden durch Umlenkkräfte vom leichten Trägermedium Dampf getrennt und zum Ablassstutzen geführt. Weiterhin dient der Abscheider zur stetigen Entsalzung der Anlage.

Feed water tanks

The feedwater tank or condensate tank has, among other things, the task of thermally degassing the treated feedwater and collecting the condensate produced. The tank is made of stainless steel in horizontal round shape. It is designed for unpressurized operation and must be connected to the atmosphere via an unblockable vapor line. The feed water is controlled by a level switch, the switchgear of which is installed in the boiler control cabinet.

Water treatment plants/Osmosis plant

The water treatment plant with fully automatic regeneration works according to the sodium-ion exchange process and also consists of two corrosion-resistant fiberglass tanks with a filter filling made of high-quality base exchange material and a brine tank. The calculated flow rate is determined by an electronic system, i.e. the flow rate is constantly counted in order to avoid a hardness slump. Before the softener resin of the first base exchanger is exhausted, an automatic switchover to the second exchanger takes place.

Dosing plant

The dosing pump is a self-priming diaphragm pump driven by a stepper motor and electronics. Adjustable between 0.15 and 100%. The pump is mounted ready for operation on the dosing medium tank. The control should be done via a contact water meter.

Optimum suction behavior, as the pump always operates with full suction stroke volume. Continuous dosing, as the pump is primed with a short suction stroke and dosed with the longest possible dosing stroke, regardless of the current dosing capacity.

Mixing coolers / sludge tanks

Steel tank for the introduction of the very hot waters from the steam boiler (steam mixture from the start-up, backwash water, residual moisture of the water separator). When the temperature rises to about 70 degrees, the thermostatic valve opens and fresh water is added. The overflow is connected to the sewerage system.

Simple and inexpensive repair

The ZAFA product range also includes the manufacture of all pipe baskets and pressure bodies which are required in the various process plants. They are manufactured exclusively in-house by certified welders.

Our tube baskets can be manufactured and installed quickly and inexpensively by us. Thus, your steam boiler can be repaired and put into operation as quick as possible. You do not have to buy a new rapid steam boiler.
